Pastoral Ministry Internship

The internship exists to help develop pastoral skills and experience with an emphasis on meeting current ministry needs at Calvary Presbyterian Church. 

20 hours per week

Limited term of up to 1 year. (renewable)

Qualifications:

• Meets biblical qualifications for the office of Elder

• Seminary trained or currently enrolled in seminary

• Ordained or working towards being ordained in the PCA or other NAPARC denomination

Under the Direct Supervision and Mentorship of the Pastor(s) duties may include:

• Assisting in planning worship services and general administration

• Teaching High School and Adult Sunday School Courses

• Participating in youth ministry gatherings

• Developing and leading a Community Group

• Developing and planning occasional intern worship services

• Participating and helping to lead youth and adult leadership training courses

• Assisting in Pastoral Visitations

• Developing and maintaining the digital footprint strategy of Calvary

Remuneration:

• Onsite Housing (single family home)
