Women of Calvary, we are invited to the Eastern PA Presbytery Women’s Conference, Encountering the King, on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Providence Presbyterian Church in Quakertown. This will be an all day event with speakers, workshops, and worship. The keynote speaker, Shannon Fodale, will teach us about Jesus from the book of Revelation. The early bird registration is $50 by March 16, lunch is included. Carpooling will be arranged as we hope to have a large representation from Calvary at the conference!
Women's Bible Study
The women's Bible study will begin on September 18, 2025 with a study in the Gospel of Luke, chapters 1-11
We meet weekly on Thursday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30. Come to the Fellowship Hall at 9:45 for informal fellowship, conversation, coffee, and occasional treats. We'll start the morning promptly at 10 am with a short large-group meeting. Then we'll break into small groups for study, discussion, and prayer. Discussion questions will be provided.

Women in the Word: a WORKshop
Each October, Calvary hosts the annual Women in the Word: a WORKshop. The Workshop's goal is to strengthen women's Bible study skills. Increased understanding of Scripture revives our hearts as we marvel at the God revealed there! Calvary women are invited to join individuals and church groups who come from far and wide! The Workshop is divided into 3 parts: pre-Workshop prep to get you ready, small groups for hands-on learning, and large groups for deeper insights. The 2025 Workshop will meet at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Willow Grove on October 17-18, 2025
This year, our large group sessions will be led by Bible teacher Erika Moore, who will guide us through Scripture to explore the connection between God’s glory and His presence. We’ll reflect on how God’s glory is revealed in unexpected places and sometimes absent where we might assume it would be. As we journey through passages, we’ll also consider what it means for Christ’s glory to dwell in us and how that transforms our daily lives as believers.
